With pleasant views of the Gothic palaces and grand homes that line the city's narrow waterways, water taxis are available at the terminal; expediently servicing the San Marco-Vallaresso stop in around 20 to 30 minutes. The Alilaguna public ferries depart from the Venice Marco Polo Airport and make their way to the Piazza San Marco in around 75 minutes. Furthermore, private water taxis are available for hire all along the waterfront, and parking options are offered near the bus station in the Piazzale Roma square.
